At Herendeen Chiropractic the core strategy is to be treating patients that range from new born to elderly, from wellness to sports injuries. I want to provide patients with optimal recovery using my knowledge in sports and chiropractic. Techniques and procedures used will include, but not be limited to the following: diversified technique, activator methods, flexion/distraction, instrument assisted soft tissue (graston), functional movement screen, electric stim, cupping and home care exercises.
Chiropractic is part of the health care industry, one of the largest industries in the United States. As a chiropractor, although we treat the entire body, we are known for our expertise in treating back pain. It’s estimated that up to 80% of individuals will experience back pain at some point in their lives. This is the leading cause of disability and loss of work productivity worldwide. Each year Americans spend at least 50 million dollars on back pain related expenses. This number is increasing each year, as the baby boomers are aging and retiring. A 2007 study estimated that only about 8% of the United States population was utilizing chiropractic care as part of their health care needs. With health care, obesity, weight loss, and other similar topics in the headlines each day consumers are seeking holistic medicine, now more than ever. This is leaves us with the majority population of America as an untapped patient base that are more likely now than ever to turn to chiropractic care for their health needs. To successfully obtain these patients in our practice we are focusing our marketing strategies on educating and reaching out to this untapped population.
